DSF directly supports St. Luke Parish

As we all know, your support of the Diocesan Services Fund (DSF) allows 64 ministries in our local churches to thrive, serving those in need in ways no single parish could achieve alone. These ministries serve the poor, the sick, and the forgotten, and we want to highlight some of the ways DSF directly supports St. Luke Parish and the surrounding community.

Support at St. Dominic Village
In July 2024, Hurricane Beryl caused significant damage when two large trees fell on the home of long-time parishioner Jane Bemko. Her home was deemed unlivable, displacing her from the home she had known for many years. Thankfully, Jane was able to find residence at St. Dominic Village, a Senior Care Community supported by DSF. Although no one wants to leave their home under such circumstances, Jane has found comfort in the spiritual services available at St. Dominic Village, including the Warren Chapel just outside her unit. She can attend daily Mass and receive sacraments such as Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament services that have been a true blessing during this difficult time. Jane is deeply grateful to DSF for making St. Dominic Village a reality, not only for her, but for all the residents who find comfort there.
St. Luke Partnerships with DSF Ministries
San Jose Clinic and Catholic Charities Counseling and Behavioral Health Clinic

San Jose Clinic has been a vital partner in our community, regularly offering vaccination clinics on the St. Luke campus. These clinics are open to all parishioners and neighbors, ensuring everyone has access to essential health services.

Additionally, we’ve partnered with Catholic Charities Counseling and Behavioral Health Clinic to offer a satellite location on our campus. This partnership provides parishioners and local residents with access to counseling services, with a dedicated counselor available to assist with personal and mental health needs.
