Capital Campaign Update: Thank you to all who are supporting the efforts of our Capital Campaign. We are happy to announce that we have reach our first year’s goal of raising $1 Million! We are behind on our goal for the 2nd year of our Capital Campaign. We need to be at 66% on our fundraising thermometer by October of 2024. Let us step up our efforts and surpass our goal for this year. We Are St. Luke!

Liturgical Ministers Schedule: The liturgical minister schedule for June through September is now available online. Those who have requested paper copies of the schedule can pick up their copy on the counter of the Ministry Room.

Flores de Mayo: Next weekend our Filipino Community will be celebrating Flores de Mayo at the Saturday 5:30pm mass. This celebration will be honoring the Blessed Mother with a crowning in the courtyard after the Mass as well as a rosary. There will be a to-go reception after the rosary. Please join us for this celebration!

Priest Convocation: Every year, all priests in the diocese are invited to a Priest Convocation for a week. This year, the convocation will be May 20th through the 23rd. During this time, we will not have daily Masses, confessions, or priests available on campus. Daily Mass will resume on Friday, May 24th at 9am.

Virtuoso: Virtuoso is a study designed for young adults, especially those in college, focusing on the virtues. Led by recent college graduates, this study aims to help us explore the virtues using the catechism and examples from the Bible. We will delve into the practical aspects of virtuous living in our day-to-day lives and grow in community and faith as we learn more about our path to holiness. All young adults, from recent high school graduates onwards, are invited to join us! Meetings will be held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the Youth Room, starting June 5th. Come join us in unveiling what it means to lead a virtuous life!

Dirigido por graduados universitarios recientes, este estudio tiene como objetivo ayudarnos a explorar las virtudes utilizando el catecismo y ejemplos de la Biblia. KC Movie Night: The Knights of Columbus are holding another Free Movie event, on May 18 at 6:30 PM in the Social Hall called for the Greater Glory. This Movie was produced by the Knights of Columbus in the 1920’s, as millions in the United States joined the resurgent Ku Klux Klan and millions of Catholics (among others) suffered its bigotry, Mexican Catholics were waging a literal civil war for their lives and the right to practice their faith. Free entrance to see the movie, free snacks including hot dogs and nachos. We will be accepting your generous donations to help fund the parish’s Storage Building project!

Vocation Prayer Cards: The gift of priestly ministry is a valuable gift from God to the Universal Church. We need it. Therefore, we are all invited to pray for our priests daily and at every Mass. In the hymnal pockets, there are cards with the Cross of the Apostolate and a prayer to offer our Communion for Priests and for an increase in Priestly Vocations. We can pray with them after going to Communion at each Mass, and leave them there again to continue using them every time we participate in the Holy Eucharist. They are available in English and Spanish. If you wish to have a personal one, please contact the Apostolate of the Cross. And they will also be published in the following week's bulletin.
El Don del Ministerio Sacerdotal es un valioso regalo de Dios para la Iglesia Universal, los necesitamos. Por ello, todos estamos invitados a orar por nuestros Sacerdotes diariamente y en cada Misa. En los apartados para libros de cantos, se encuentran las tarjetas con la Cruz del Apostolado y una oración para ofrecer nuestra Comunión por los Sacerdotes y por un aumento en las Vocaciones Sacerdotales, podemos orar con ellas después de pasar a Comulgar en cada Misa, y volver a dejarlas allí para seguirlas utilizando cada que participamos en la Santa Eucaristía. KC Breakfast: All parishioners are invited to the Social Hall to partake in the Knights of Columbus Pancakes & sausage breakfast and your choice of coffee or orange juice. All profits are to help raise funds to build a storage building next to our proposed new family life center at to River Ranch Rd. We are asking for a $5 donation per plate but will accept any amount you wish to donate.
