You can pray for vocations in a special way on behalf of our entire community! Everyone has a vocation—the way an individual is called to live out his or her life to serve God’s kingdom. Some people are called to serve the kingdom as a single person, others are called to married life and others are called to serve God’s people as priests, deacons, religious brothers & sisters.
We send the Vocations Chalice with a person or family on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month to pray for 2 weeks for vocations, especially to the priesthood. Though we have 4 English Masses, we usually only have enough people to pass along the chalice at one Mass per weekend. Of course, if we were to have people from every Mass interested in participating we would happily expand this ministry!
If you are interested in participating by
taking the chalice home with you, contact
