The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD
Texans Recovering Together is a Crisis Counseling Program that offers crisis counseling, community outreach, local referrals and resources, linkage and psycho-education to individuals, families, and communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are here to ensure that all Texans affected in Harris County will regain a sense of normalcy and recover stronger than ever! We are flexible and available (7-days a week) to provide these resources via many platforms; phone, ZOOM, LifeSize, and Microsoft Teams. We also provide resources for things like rental, utility, food assistance and information which may be needed due to COVID-19 pandemic. All services offered are free. The Crisis Counseling Program is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency also known as (FEMA).
