New Building Blessing
Our New Building was finally blessed and officially christened the Cenacle Learning Center on May 24, 2014. Many thanks to all who gave of their time, talent, & treasure to make this possible for our parish. Thank you to all of our parish staff & volunteers throughout the entire process who responded “yes” to the call of service to their parish & parish family. Our new campus is truly a huge undertaking, but with all of us doing our part, it is not an impossible feat. Although our building is constructed and will soon be in use, we still have to finish paying for the construction. Please continue to support our capital campaign, and if you have not been participating, please consider joining the effort. If all of us give our part, not only will we have this new building completely paid for, but the rest of our campus as well!
The Cenacle Learning Center is the first of 5 buildings. Our new campus will include this present building, future Children’s Education Building, Social Hall & Youth Center, Administration Building, and Church. Also to be constructed will be a maintenance building and priest residence (Rectory). Apart from these buildings, future plans include an outdoor covered pavilion and sports field. For now, the Cenacle Learning Center will be used as additional meeting/multi-use space, but will be designated as the Adult Ministry Building once the entire campus has been completed.
A Special Thank You
A special thanks to Fr. James for his work and guidance on the construction of our new building. As Auxiliary Bishop Sheltz stated at the Blessing, priests are ordained to be builders but not necessarily builders of buildings, but often they are called upon to do just so. We wish Fr. James continued success and blessings on his journey and thank him for leaving us with the completion of our new building. I know he will be more than willing to come and celebrate with us at the completion of the entire campus!
