Latin for "spiritual reading"
Lectio Divina is a thoughtful and meditative way of studying Sacred Scripture. We read a passage as it is written by the inspired author and consider its meaning for the people to whom it was written at the time. We study the way the author developed the message and its connections to other passages in the Old Testament and New testament writings. Central to our study is prayerful meditation, focusing on making the Scripture live in our own lives and in the community.
We meet every first and third Friday at 10:00 am in Room 5 in the Education Building.
The class is open to everyone.
Bring your Bible.
